"FOP Cops and Kids©" 2010
Shelby County Metro FOP Lodge #35's annual "FOP Cops and Kids©" was held on December 4th, 2010 at the Wal-Mart Super Store located at 8400 Highway 64 in Bartlett. It kicked off at 7:30AM with a breakfast for the 44 kids at the McDonalds located inside the Wal-Mart. After breakfast, the kids divided up with one of the 36 Police Volunteers and went on wild shopping sprees! Each child had a $150 spending limit, and wow, they could shop! Bicycles to baby dolls were flying into shopping carts, and tons of smiles could be seen on every isle! We had 36 wonderful volunteers from The Memphis Police Department, Bartlett Police Department, Memphis Light Gas & Water Police, Shelby County Sherrif's Department, University of Memphis Police, and many other organizations. Thank you all for volunteering, and we look forward to 2011's "FOP Cops and Kids©"! A special thanks goes out to all the employees of Walmart Store #950 for all their help with this years "FOP Cops and Kids©"!
