The Shelby County Metro FOP Lodge #35's 10th Annual Golf Tournament drew 11 teams of golfers for a wonderful day of golf. The shotgun start was at 1:00PM with the temperature hovering around 70 degrees. Lenny's Sub Shop again provided sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks for everybody. Landers Auto Group provided a Brand New Ford F150 as a Hole-In-One prize, but there were no winners this year. During lunch, door prizes were given out, and over 40 players walked away with everything from Golf Bags to gift certificates. The winning team was manned by Melton, Holmes, Hoskins and Jones, and shot a 57. Awards were also given out for the 2nd and 3rd place teams, longest drive (hole #18 - Dale Collins), and closest to the hole (hole #3 - Dale Collins and hole #13 - Jerry Fant). Putting winner this year was Allen Harris. This years Golf Tournament benefitted "FOP Cops and Kids©" and the Cops-4-Kids Toy Drive, and was huge success!
