On June 7, 2009, Members from Shelby County Metro FOP Lodge #35 were invited to the Dream Factory's annual "Buzz The Red, White and Blue" Picnic. This year, the picnic was held at Freeman Park in Bartlett. The Dream Factory of Memphis makes Dreams Come True for children with life altering illnesses, and this years Donation from Shelby County Metro FOP Lodge #35 is enough to make several childrens dreams come true! Several members of Lodge #35's Executive Board volunteered to have a trim in honor of The Dream Factory's Kids. Members of the Bartlett Fire Department also attended, and some had their heads "buzzed" for the charity.
