Arlington Elementary receives $1,000 technology donation

Arlington Elementary Principal Gina Gore was all smiles when the Fraternal Order of Police presented her school with a $1,000 donation for its Technology Fund. She's pictured with Bobby Simmons, a grandfather of one of her students and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and Ed Haley, Town of Arlington Superintendent. The Arlington Elementary technology Fund is used for upgrades in classroom technology, including computers and projectors. Ms. Gore says the money may also be put toward the future purchase of new keyboards for music classes.
