
60th Biennial National FOP Conference Salt Lake City Utah August 14-18, 2011
The 60th Biennial National FOP Conference and Expo was held in Salt Lake City Utah from August 14-18, 2011. During this conference, 3300 delegates representing more than 322,000 FOP members from all 50 states, Ireland, Canada and Federal Agencies, met to conduct the business of the Fraternal Order of Police.
During the conference, several Constitution and By Law changes were voted on and passed. National office elections were also held, and all the delegates voted for the positions of National President, National Vice President, National Second Vice President,
National Secretary, National Treasurer and National Sergeant at Arms. Thank you to all the FOP members all over the US that came together and made this Conference a success. Also a special thank you to all the FOP members in Utah for making this conference such a huge success. The election results are listed below:
National FOP President - Chuck Canterbury (re-elected)
National FOP Vice President - Ed Brannigan (newly elected)
National FOP 2nd Vice President - Frank Gale (re-elected)
National FOP Secretary - Patrick Yoes (re-elected)
National FOP Treasurer - Tom Penoza (re-elected)
National FOP Sergeant-At-Arms - Roger Mayberry (newly elected)
The 2013 and 2015 National Conference sites were also selected. In 2013, the Biennial National FOP Conference will be held in Cincinatti, Ohio. In 2015, the 100th Anniversary Biennial National FOP Conference will be held where the FOP began, in Pittsburgh, PA. Nashville TN also placed their name in the hat for the 2017 Biennial Conference. Lets hope that Tennessee can bring the conference home!
