The Shelby County Metro FOP Lodge #35's Annual "FOP Cops and Kids©" Shopping Event for 2011 was held at the Walmart at 8400 Hwy 64 in Bartlett TN. This year we had 36 sponsored kids show up for an experience that they will never forget! 44 Uniformed officers from Bartlett Police Department, Memphis Police Department, Millington Police Department, Univeristy of Memphis, MLGW, Corrections and several other agencies arrived to show support for these disadvantaged children from all over Shelby County. We had a huge contingeny from the Bartlett Police Department, and we would like to send out a special "thank you" to all those officers. Each child that was chosen left the Walmart with a huge smile and a new "officer" friend!
